Minesweeper On Mobile takes the classic mine-clearing puzzle and rebuilds it for the modern browser, with a 16x16 grid, 40 hidden mines and absolutely nothing standing between you and your first click.
The Dig and Flag toggle replaces right-click, which is what makes touch Minesweeper actually playable. Gameplay is simple to state and hard to master: reveal a square, read the number it shows, and use that count of adjacent mines to prove where the danger is and where it is not.
On a desktop, left-click digs and right-click plants a flag. On a phone or tablet, the Dig and Flag toggle at the top of the dashboard swaps between the two, so touch players get exactly the same control precision as mouse players.
Your very first click is always safe. The mine layout is generated after you dig, and the algorithm keeps your opening square and its immediate neighbours clear, so no session ever ends before it has properly begun. Under the hood it is plain modern web technology: React for state, Tailwind for the neon styling, and oscillator-based Web Audio for the ticks, flag clicks, win chime and explosion. There is no plugin, no installer and no account.
When a board beats you, hit reset and a brand new arrangement appears instantly. Improvement here is measurable: the timer never lies.
